The Impermanence of Life September 29, 2009

Gotcha. Well, sort of. I am talking about things that don’t last, but not life, I’m tired of Life’s questions and it’s boring to be making up answers. I decided to talk about something completely pointless that is really just a waste of both yours and my time. Yes, free time is lovely.

Thinking about it now, this topic may actually have some meaning to it – it’s basically the ease with which any and every object seems to break. Now, I’m quite the clumsy fellow, so I have a certain knack for leaving a path of destruction wherever I go. See any broken windows, television sets, sets of legs – who you gonna call? The police.

Will a back-rub suffice?

Metapod Used Struggle! September 28, 2009

Third-most pointless move next to splash and harden. I knew that Pokémon was going downhill when a ‘Wild Metapod’ actually fought back against my Totodile. But it was a game of my childhood, so finding the motivation to play was never difficult, bringing me to the topic of this post.

I Like Your Pencils – They’re Really Sharp September 25, 2009

So I lied about them being sharp, but if it’s any consolation  I am typing this post with two pencils. Two Pokémon pencils none the less that I received anywhere between the ages 7 and 9 and apparently, as I discovered last night, they were made in Korea. So I plan on typing up this whole post this why because I enjoy meaningless challenges.

Well, I would, but I had my last exam today, so I’m in a good mood. I suppose that I can officially start posting again now, huh? Time to stir the honey pot then.

I literally meant the honey pot, I don’t know what the rest of you were thinking. Pooh bear is siding with me on this one. I can honestly say that I don’t want to know where your thoughts have been and what they have been about. But I guess that’s innuendo for you, isn’t it?

These guys seem to think so…

I’m Bored, Let’s Date September 21, 2009

I’m bored, let’s date.

Well, no, not really. I’m not exactly sure I want to date  you. Or you, or you. In fact, I’m adamant on the fact that I don’t want to date you. (more…)

Yes I’m back. They all still have exams (maybe), but I gladly welcome my nine day weekend and spend it doing shit all. Anyway.

Internet animosity. Some good laughs we’ve had with that. It always good to have some fun and joyous times with people who we don’t know and probably won’t ever. Which brings me to our main focus tonight of a certain site that’s had a certain prominence among us young ones. Omegle. The amount of fun you can have on that site is amazing. Seriously, for the last two hours of my life, I have posed as 18 year old Japanese girl from Nagoya and it works. It’s simply just hilarious letting guys trying to get you to do dirty things. The level of perversion you’ll find is amazing. People will go straight to ASL in a matter of seconds and the fact that you can bullshit everything is even funnier when it leads to some good lols.

We’ve all had our guilty pleasure on that site, screwing with people. But don’t you think it’s rather cruel to mess some poor kid’s brain up for the sake of a good laugh? Well, none of us do. The facts are simple; it’s funny, we get a kick out of it, and we sometimes meet people who are genuinely nice. A bit of trial and error can take the whole animosity to a whole new level.

As far as entertainment goes nowadays (for lonely people on the internet), this is second to joining a dating site and mass-baiting everyone to one location then pull a fence around them and throw pigs and yell “PIG CATCHING COMPETITION”. Yes, that would be extremely fun and funny, and you do want to do that.

I apologise, mostly to myself, for making this post when I have quite a load of schoolwork piled up on my antique, but sadly cut up, desk and also yearly exams starting next week on Monday, but honestly, I felt that this could not wait.

What’s the big deal, you may be wondering? I’ve got two words for you – internet censorship.

The Sucrose team will be away for approximately two weeks due to our preliminary exams, and thus, will be unable to write/post/blog anything new for that time period. However, Deft (although he should be studying for exams) and Sally may/will update. As for me, I will not.

Thank you to all our current viewers, and I shall bid you a brilliant two weeks of joyous freedom without any input from myself.

We All Need a Fix Sometimes September 6, 2009

Edit: Much to my dismay, the first video I put up in this post did not live up to its expectations. It happens to be missing a short part after the song, where Jess says the most awesome “Sparkling” that you would have ever heard in your lives. I scoured Youtube for videos that did have this, but all the ones that used to have been removed. Now only a few all of you will know this “Sparkling” pinnacle… There is a video out there! Many thanks to a guest over at snsdkorean and SoShi Subs! I’ve replaced the previous video with the new one. It’s an actual clip from part of the whole radio show, so start watching at about 5:31 if you just want the song and “Sparkling”.

Of nostalgia, that is. It can give us that pickup that we need to get us through a tough day and it’s always soothing. Many things induce the feeling and the different ways in which we perceive them are quite diverse, affecting each of our senses, most of which I will not mention due to my current state of exhaustion.
