I’m sick and tired of your shit. November 2, 2009

Edit: Geo started out this post, came up with the idea behind it, but when he returned to it, his brain flow stopped so he asked me to finish it for him. I decided to keep him as the post author as I want people to see this as his post rather than mine. He did the title, found and put in the picture, and wrote the first two paragraphs. I basically tried going off those for what  I wrote. I just hope it’s relevant. – Deft

shit

You know what? I’m sick of the internet. How much bullshit it pulls out of its ass every day. So here I say, fuck you internet, fuck you and your inglorious ways of removing us from society and the very banes of humanity itself.

You might think to yourself, “hang on a second here, as if it takes us away from socialising, it brings it all together”. Well ladies and gentlemen, here’s a lesson for you. The internet is not helping you socialise. It may be helping you connect with old friends and meet people and you can add people you just met to get to know them better, but that pulls you deeper into its claws. It’s drawing you in infact.

Don’t you just love it when you’re having a pleasant chat with a group of friends over that facialised book? I don’t because those conversations prevent me from actually fapping doing something more worth my while. Honestly I’d rather speak to someone’s face, sense their sarcasm, see their unique facial expressions rather than updating my status from a meter away, “Big B – I really like your bangs”

Verbally whoring over the internet does not count as socialising, but rather just a sad ploy at some attention. Good job, Pud Dle likes this.

Sure, the internet is a great place for meeting new people and dropping it in, so to speak. I’ve met a fair lot of people this way who I would now call friends, but I don’t consider it socialising without physical interaction.

I really find it quite simple to separate social networking and socialising. I have fun doing the latter and I can too easily lose sleep over the former.

Social networking, whether it be cheesing, trolling or faggot tree is like stalking – the more you do it, the harder it is to stop.
